Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has precipitated unprecedented disruptions in the realm of education, compelling governments, education systems, and educators worldwide to adapt rapidly to alternative modes of delivery while striving to maintain the quality of education. As the crisis persists, numerous uncertainties loom over the future of schooling, including concerns about student re-engagement post-pandemic, the viability of institutions amid declining enrollments and potential dropouts, and the logistical challenges posed by social distancing guidelines. Additionally, there is widespread apprehension surrounding the readiness and acceptance of technology for remote learning, exacerbated by unreliable infrastructure and the lingering trauma experienced by parents and guardians. Moreover, the affordability of online classes and the capacity of instructors, parents, and students to navigate digital platforms remain pressing issues. Despite these challenges, educational institutions are actively embracing online blended learning models in anticipation of continued disruptions.
This abstract highlights the multifaceted challenges faced by the education sector in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and underscores the urgent need for innovative solutions to sustain quality education provision. Addressing concerns surrounding student re-engagement, institutional viability, technological readiness, and financial accessibility is paramount for ensuring equitable access to education in the post-pandemic era. By acknowledging and addressing these challenges, stakeholders can work collaboratively to navigate the evolving landscape of education and mitigate the adverse impacts of the pandemic on learning outcomes.
