Abstract
The rapid development of information technology has led to the emergence of new crimes, such as the crime of creating terrorist websites. This crime is a major challenge for the international community, as it can be used to spread propaganda, recruit members, and coordinate attacks.
This paper examines the legal framework for combating the crime of creating terrorist websites in Omani law and international criminal law. The paper argues that Omani law has a number of provisions that can be used to prosecute this crime, but that international criminal law is still developing in this area.
The paper concludes by proposing a number of recommendations for strengthening the legal framework for combating the crime of creating terrorist websites.
